I took a little trip to California last week to hang out with some friends I haven't seen since I left last May. I felt a little weird going back because I haven't seen anyone from there in 8 months and a lot could've changed. Lucky, once I got there, it was just like jumping back into the life I left behind making for some good times. My stay was extremly short but it reassured the fact that I'm need go back asap.

 

After a 3 hour layover in SF, I flew down to the OC. The weather didn't look so good.

 

I cruised down to Huntington Beach.

 

There was a layer of smog overlaying the ocean.

 

Nathan was already in Cali. He hurt himself before he was suppose to skate in the Girl Contest but he still managed to pull this off.

 

After the sesh, we came up on some free drinks and went down to Chipotle.

 

After a session at Santa Ana Park, we played enablers to Tom's Counter Strike addiction.

 

And after gaming for a couple hours, we headed down to In N Out.

 

With almost no sleep for over 24 hours, I crashed into the best sleep I've had in a long time about 10 minutes after this photo was taken.

 

 

The next day was spent skating the new LA skate plaza and cruising in the Torrance/Redondo Beach area. Being the bad blogger I am, no photos were taken. Later that night, we packed the vehicles and drove up to SF.

 

You can imagine was their drive was like.

 

That's not a bottle of piss.

 

 

When we actually got to SF, it was extremely cold (I'm comparing it to Hawaiian weather) and raining so we spent the day and night just cruising. Luckily, rain subsided and we got to skate the entire weekend.

 

Ryan can't leave a spot without getting a trick even if it's abd switch.

 

This spots gnarly as fuck. Anything down it is crazy, going down it switch is insane.

 

A long day of hard work paid off for Ryan.

 

All of us except Ryan decided to follow our hosts to a party so we could bomb hills.

 

The only partier of the group.

 

Me and Nate got lost going back down so we stopped to skate some barriers.

 

We checked out some other spots and got caught in an hour long conversation with some SF loc.
